About our premises

 The club is situated in its own pleasant grounds including gardens, a small wood and a large car park.  The playing green and gardens are maintained by the members. 


There is a comfortable clubhouse that has a well stocked bar, changing rooms, a large club room and a fully fitted kitchen used for catering club events.

 We cater for bowls players, and potential players, of all ages and abilities and  new members are always welcome. Coaching is available from our  three EBCS (English Bowls Coaching Association) accredited coaches who will be happy to start you off.


Our current Membership Fees are:

Full members    £100

Social members £25. (Social members are allowed to play a limited number of games as well as join in social events).

There is a reduced fee available to new members in their first year. Application forms  can be obtained from our secretary. Click  here.


So  you are interested in taking up a sport that helps keep you active in pleasant surroundings amongst friendly people, why don't you come along and have a go.   (We have spare sets of bowls  for you to use).

Fixtures

Club nights

  From (April to September), there is a full timetable of friendly fixtures and the club takes part in a number of Leagues and external competitions. e.g. LX league, Jubilee league, Hospitals League, North West Kent league.


External competitions are organised by Kent County, the BB&DBA and the Bowls Hospitals Amenity Fund, which individuals members of club teams can enter.

Club nights

During the Summer (April to September) season these are Tuesday and Friday evenings from 5.30pm on, where members play "roll ups" - informal games; or just socialise Later in the season there is a Friday night triples competition with a meal.


During the Winter before,  members meet Friday nights for drinks and chats (This is currently suspended due to Covid)

 The club is affiliated to the The Beckenham, Bromley & District Bowling Association (BB&BDA). 

Members of Forest Hill are automatically members of the BB&DBA. 

The  members play games all over Kent and every year go on tour to various parts of the UK.
